A NIGHT OF STORY TELLING and WELLNESS

YouTube/Patreon

THe inaugural PLUS Talk 2025

THANK YOU RICHMOND!!

We did it! The inaugural PLUS Talk is officially in the books!

Richmond truly showed up for the first PLUS Talk Gala — a night that represented not only the official launch of PLUS, but the beginning of a new rhythm for how we lead, live, and lovee.

Huge thank you to our amazing sponsors Call Federal Credit Union and Mosaic Interpreting Services!

A SHIFT IN how we lead

This evening was about more than an event. It was about planting seeds of rest, reflection, and restoration into the soil of our city and beyond. As someone who has walked through burnout, battled with identity, and by the grace of God found healing through holistic wellness, this mission is deeply personal.

OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF PLUS

PLUS stands for Promoting Longevity + Ultimately Stability. That’s what June 28th was all about: creating space for longevity in leadership, stability in our communities, and peace within ourselves. Whether you were present as a storyteller, a supporter, a sponsor, or simply someone seeking something deeper — you belonged here.

A Platform for Impact & Next-Generation Leadership

Beyond thought-provoking discussions, the PLUS Talk is designed to make a tangible difference. Proceeds from the event will fund grants for RPS students to use for their personal support.

Thank you for joining us in this movement to uplift our city, invest in our youth, and lead from a place of alignment. I pray this night filled your cup, affirmed your purpose, and reminded you that rest is not a reward — it’s a responsibility.

with deep gratitude,

Brandon Holloman-Lovee

Keonna Knight, M.Ed, is a courage coach, burnout coach and wellness speaker who specializes in teaching Black women and visionary leaders how to balance rest and success.

Her journey into this transformative work began in 2019 when she was a burnt out 5th grade teacher in East Oakland. After months of trying to juggle the endless responsibilities and intense emotional demands of being an educator, she made a conscious choice to do something different: put herself first. Despite feeling selfish at first, she discovered that investing in her own well-being was like plugging into a power source, allowing her to make a meaningful impact in the world while enjoying a fulfilling life.

Now, as the CEO of Heal with Keonna, she's empowered over 1,500 Black women and visionary leaders and 30+ organizations to make a difference in the world without sacrificing their well-being.

Drawing from her extensive experience as a trained therapist, classroom teacher, and mindfulness instructor, Keonna provides coaching, community, and corporate wellness trainings that eliminate burnout and make wellness accessible and practical.

Clean Ways Academy

Operations Manager

Davon "Rocstagis" Wimbush — leader, healer, creative, innovator, and community advocate — has transformed his life from surviving the streets of Richmond, VA to empowering others to thrive. A Certified Hypnotist, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor Assistant (CSAC), Peer Recovery Specialist, and co-founder of Clean Ways Academy, Davon — commonly known as Roc — devotes his time and talents to helping men break free from self-destructive cycles and build lives rooted in wellness, purpose, and resilience.

Raised by a strong mother and shaped by hard life lessons — including surviving being shot seven times — Roc brings authenticity, compassion, and hard-earned wisdom to his work. That experience forced him to confront his own mindset, values, and purpose. The journey of healing — mentally, physically, and spiritually — required him to apply many of the same principles he now teaches: resilience, positive thinking, identity transformation, and a deep commitment to wellness. Through this firsthand experience, Roc not only rebuilt his life but became a powerful example of what lasting change looks like in action.

As a respected leader within Richmond’s recovery and reentry communities, Roc develops and facilitates programs that teach self-confidence, emotional regulation, identity building, and positive thinking — equipping men with the tools to sustain real change. His influence extends beyond formal settings; through public speaking, community events, and one-on-one mentorship, he serves as a living example of what is possible with dedication and vision.

A true creative, Roc also continues to use music and visual art as powerful vehicles for healing and empowerment. As a hip hop producer, emcee, musical artist, and graphic design artist, he creates content that aims to motivate, educate, and encourage — blending artistry with purpose in service of the community.

Today, Roc continues to elevate his work, bridging the worlds of counseling, recovery support, music, and community leadership through his role as co-founder of Clean Ways Academy, a treatment program for men struggling with addiction and mental health disorders. Guided by the motto Clean Ways Over Clean Days, Clean Ways Academy provides a structured environment where men can address the complex layers of addiction and mental health, while building new skills for sustainable recovery and personal growth. One of the Academy’s greatest strengths is its willingness and daring approach to utilizing innovative strategies — fostering deeper engagement, creativity, and authentic transformation within its supportive community. Through this platform and beyond, Roc supports, assists, motivates, and encourages men to apply the very principles he teaches — cultivating personal development, resilience, and spiritual growth. His mission is to help each man reconnect with his inner God, awaken his highest potential, and embody lasting transformation.
